this is for a very special gentleman my granddad. he was tall gentle kind and very very loving. he
was a brave man as he had fought off cancer once before but it came back. i remember going to see
him with my mum sister and brother and him taking us to the working mans club he would buy us a
glass of pop and a packet of crisps everytime we went he would then say to me come on love dance
with your granddad my granddad gave me away at my wedding and watched his grandchildren grow
unfortunately he will never see their children i went to see my granddad the week before he passed
away and he said he would be here for his next birthday but maybe not the next but sadley he wasnt i
love and miss him so very much my hero.

If we could only speak to you,
And hold your loving hand,
No matter what we said or did,
We know you'd understand.

Memory is a lovely lane,
Where hearts are ever true,
A lane we so often travel down,
Because it leads to you.
⊱♥⊰~⊱♥⊰
Sadly missed along life's way,
Quietly remembered every day,
No longer in our lives to share,
But in our hearts you're always there.
⊱♥⊰~⊱♥⊰
Your presence we miss,
Your memory we treasure,
Loving you always,
Forgetting you never.

Light a Candle

Light a candle for those we mourn.
Into a new life they will be born.
Do not look for them at the gravesite.
They are somewhere else radiating their beautiful light.
They have gone to a new world where there is no darkness, no pain.
Their light and essence will always remain.
Light a candle for those who have left this mortal place.
They are free to travel through time and space.
When we think of them, they are near.
When we sit in a beautiful garden. Their voices we hear.
When we listen to a divine symphony,
We close our eyes, their faces we see.
Light a candle for they have not really gone.
With each flickering flame, in your hearts they will always belong.
